Today Mercury moves into Aquarius and it's time we think differently about how we innovate for a better world

Aquarius season is helping us get into “GOOD TROUBLE”:

Where do I even start on the last week…As an American, I’m shocked (but also not shocked unfortunately) by the displays of blatant fascism and cruelty dealt out by the new US regime over the past week. Nazi salutes, raids on schools, capital punishment laws drafted for women getting reproductive care…it’s horrifying.

But I also saw some wonderful things start to happen in the world. And, as Stacey Abrams said in her inspiring video here, people are organising and getting busy…we are not without weapons when it comes to serving and protecting our communities, and Aquarius Season is reminding us of that.

Today Mercury, the planet of communication, commerce and the mind, moves into Aquarius and it’s time for us to THINK and SPEAK differently as we seek to serve our communities better. Aquarius is the innovator, the revolutionary, and we all need this spirit now…

We will get into the Astrology of this week in the audio below and how to work with this week’s transit energies…and, if you need some hope, here are a few great things I saw this week:

Black women started a movement on Tik Tok called “Tik Tok University” and subsequently “Hillmantok University” and, through a mistake that became a movement by Dr Barlow, started offering free University courses online kicking off this week. I’m creating a fantastic course (see here!) to add to the curriculum!
Costco and JP Morgan showed us big corporates can have a spine when it comes to DEI and recognising the positive impact it makes on profits and culture.
Bishop Mariann Budde showed us how to be courageous in the face of cruelty
Billionaire Bloomberg showed us ‘not all billionaires’…and announced that his foundation will fund the UN climate change agency by covering the 22% of its US$96.5m budget previously provided by the US for 2024-25
I crossed paths in a new group for expat Americans abroad that’s formed via Tik Tok this week with a woman currently organising to relocate trans people out of a certain state right now to get them to safety.

People are getting into GOOD TROUBLE for the sake of our communities and future. And I’m one of them! How about you?
