I’m still in the cocoon of my birthday week. This year has been a potent portal of shedding and making space for my new life and the new me. And that takes lots of time and energy BUT I HAD to come out of the hermit cave of this lovely week off with my son to share a new Podcast and a special weekly email all about the cosmic magic!

The Scorpio New Moon Nov 1

This week’s theme is “Cosmic Magic is afoot”. Scorpio is the zodiac sign of strategy, transformation and power dynamics. It fears vulnerability but is destined to learn that the only way OUT is THROUGH. The sky is decidedly water heavy on this New Moon and very magical! Here’s how to understand the major aspects of this week’s New Moon and to interpret these energies for yourself:

Grand Trine in Water: A rare formation in the sky Grand Trine’s point to “Big Talent” in someone’s birth chart and in a potent moon transit like this one, harness this powerful water energy to connect to spirit and lessons from the past, release old blocks and let your energy be cleansed for the next transformation.
Pluto opposite Mars at 29 degrees: These 2 doing a dance at the transformative degree is major. It’s time to choose, is there more transformation to be done so you can step into authority? Or are you ready to MOVE?
New Moon conjunction in Gate 44 in HD: What support do you need as you embrace your magic and transformation? Someone with the right skillset to empower you is nearby, reach out.
This New Moon is also Lunar Samhain, a very special holiday on the pagan wheel of the year. Samhain far pre-dates “all saints day” in the catholic church. In modern Irish, the word Samhain mean’s “summer’s end” and marks the beginning of the Celtic New Year and, as some call it, “the witches new year”.
On this day especially, the veil is thin between worlds. We can more easily commune with loved ones, spirit guides and ancestors, ask for their advice and support in cutting chords or removing blocks we struggle with. Only do so with protection (energy, crystals, guides, etc) and precautions and keep your vibration high to ensure only beings of love are welcome to communicate with you.
There are many Samhain traditions you can incorporate into any ritual. One of my favourites is to make an extra plate at dinner and to leave it out for your passed loved ones over night, a symbol of love and connection and gratitude.

For this New Moon, pay attention to what house you have 9 degrees Scorpio in in your birth chart, because that is the primary place you are being activated over the next 3 days. Set intentions for how you’re going to transform and empower yourself next and make wishes for what portals are opening for you! You’ve got this x
